How often does my customer data sync?

With MailSync, all you need to do is connect your accounts and forget. MailSync autosyncs your data in the background every 15 minutes, keeping your mailing list up-to-date.

What data is synced?

It depends on the point-of-sale and eCommerce Apps you use. For most integrations, basic information is synced across, i.e. first name, last name, email address, and phone number, with the addition of city, country, customer category, gender, birthdate for Vend to MailChimp. And, if you use Vend Loyalty, customers' loyalty balances are also synced. If you have Mailchimp's eCommerce360 enabled mailsync syncs your rich point-of-sale and ecommerce data to mailchimp, including order information, products purchased, cost, and order total.

How does MailSync’s eCommerce360 data sync work with MailChimp?

MailSync syncs eCommerce360 data, including: order information, products purchased, product cost, and order total. Now it’s possible to set up segments and automation workflows based on your customers' purchase activity. When you enable eCommerce360, only new customer data is synced, and no historical data.

Can I connect multiple accounts?

Yes, you have unlimited integrations. Once you’re in the MailSync dashboard, you can connect multiple point-of-sale, eCommerce and mailing accounts. There are also no limits on transactions and customer data. So, you can focus on growing your business.

Once I have set up an integration, what do I need to do next?

Nothing. Once an integration is set up, MailSync works hard in the background to keep your mailing list up-to-date. There are no manual actions that you need to do and no more export/import with CSV files.

Where is my data stored, is it safe?

Is data synced both ways?

No, it’s simply sent from your point-of-sale to your mailing list, and/or from your eCommerce platform to your mailing list.

What happens when a customer unsubscribes from my mailing list?

If someone unsubscribes from your mailing list, they will not be synced again. This is because the person has opted out of your emails. Don’t worry, they will still be in your point-of-sale and/or eCommerce database.

Do I need to know how to code?

No, MailSync makes it easy for you to sync data between your accounts, without being a developer. We may need you to locate information for certain connections, but we'll guide you through it.
